  • We prefer Speech Therapy sessions in a clinic. Do you offer this option?
Yes! We offer speech therapy sessions at our clinic space located in Woods Square Tower 1 (a short walk from Woodlands MRT). Please contact us for more details.
  • What is the Speech Therapy process like?
The process starts with case history taking. The Speech Therapist will usually send you an online case history form to fill out prior to the first session. Assessment may consist of: observations of your child, direct/indirect testing of your child’s skills using informal or formal assessments. This may take several sessions. Following this process, the Speech Therapist will share the results of the assessment and set goals in consideration of your child’s needs, the concerns and the assessment findings. Following the assessment, intervention will target speech therapy goals. Activities will be individualized for each child.
  • Will Speech Therapy be stressful for the child?
Not at all, the children usually love their sessions! We believe the most authentic learning experiences occur when the child is comfortable. We try our best to engage your child so that they are learning in a joyful way. We take note of your child’s interests, favorite toys/songs/activities and incorporate them into our sessions.
  • What are the charges like?
Please Whatsapp us at 87791984 for the most updated session charges
  • How frequent do sessions need to be?
The Speech Therapist will assess your child and make the recommendations accordingly. We can tailor the session frequency to your child's needs and/or other considerations.
  • How do we get best results from Speech Therapy?
Each child is different, however these two areas are pretty important: First - early intervention is key! Rate of progress will be a lot faster when the child is younger. Second - try to practice the speech therapy techniques / strategies at home consistently and routinely! Third - A good assessment of the contributing factors related to your child's difficulties. A good assessment informs of appropriate treatment. We look at the general areas related to communication and feeding, and also screen for airway and/or sleep issues that may contribute to the difficulties.
  • Do you see adult clients as well?
Yes I do - I assess and treat adults who have myofunctional difficulties which may contribute to speech, feeding, orthodontic and sleep difficulties. Please Whatsapp 87791984 for more information.
